Present: Sharon Fox, Cody, Olivia, Tarun, Niala, Shelley and Sophie.

1) Blind date with a book- 02/13/2020. We discussed setting up next to SAGA’s cookie table in the student center. Olivia and Cody agreed to fill out the form we need for Becky Hudson. SKD needs to meet on 02/04/2020 at 6pm in the study area to wrap books.

2) Literary Festival in Little Rock 04/24/2020 and 04/25/2020. Tentative plan is to check into a hotel on Friday, spend Saturday at the festival and come home possibly Sunday. ICC funding form needs to be filled out by Cody asap so we can use those funds to pay for the hotel and expenses. Cody will try to fill out that form today.

3) Historian position available. Tarun serving as treasurer and historian until position is filled. Email all pictures to Sharon, Sabrina and Tarun. Olivia sending the link to a Google pics account so we can keep all the pictures together.

4) March activity- Date to be decided. Plan is to set up a table and hand out brochures and cookies.

5) April activity- Celebrate a literary birthday. Tentatively Maya Angelou. Date to be decided as Dr. Angelou’s birthday (April 4th) falls on a Saturday.

6) Future SKD meetings: Feb 26th, April 1st

7) Induction ceremony- April 30th at 6pm

8) SKD board- Upcoming events, future meetings, poll Harry Potter vs Percy Jackson

9) Niala will send Cody the link to the Janie Darr book fair to see if we can get SKD members to participate in that along with HSA for the community service project.

10) Tshirts- Cody will send out an email to see who needs an SKD shirt. Only a few are left.
