I. Fame and Notoriety

The scholarship, writing, and poetry contests deadline in November 30. These are good opportunities. See www.english2.org Awards/Scholarships for more (and come talk to me).

You can also write an essay (see Common Reader) that has to do with the book chosen for STD/SKD this year by Terry Tempest Williams, Red: Passion and Patience in the Desert. If you want a copy, let me know.  The deadline is October 29, 2019 for this.

What ideas do you have for our spring community service projects – update ever fall.
